VR Group – a wealth of opportunities

VR Group plays an important role in Finnish society in transporting people and freight. People working for us are doing a job with a purpose.

VR Group employs about 12,400 people. Of these, 23 % work at VR Logistics, 20 % at VR Track, and 17 % at VR Passenger Services.

VR Group also employs experts in many fields, such as sales, marketing, finance, personnel, communications, environment, legal, IT, rolling stock engineering and track construction.

Most personnel have permanent positions. Most fixed term personnel work during the summer, when VR Track employs 200-300 seasonal workers in track construction and maintenance work.
