• Personnel can participate in sports and hobbies clubs supported by VR.
• Personnel receive discounts for many swimming pools, sports institutes and holiday accommodation.
• Employees can also travel free on Finnish trains.
Support in reconciling work and family life
VR supports employees in reconciling working time and family life, for instance by trying to take employees’ wishes into account when planning work rosters.
Almost 800 employees took family leave during 2008, 90 people took job alternation leave and about 40 study leave.
