Changes to rail services between Finland and Russia 21-25 June

Due to track maintenance, rail services between Finland and Russia will be subject to cancellations and timetable changes in Midsummer week, 21–25 June. The Repin and Sibelius trains between Helsinki and St Petersburg will be cancelled from 22 June to 25 June inclusive. On Monday 21 June the Tolstoi Helsinki-Moscow train will leave Helsinki for Moscow earlier than usual at 14.52. The evening departure from Moscow to Helsinki on the same day will be cancelled. All trains from Helsinki to Moscow and from Moscow to Helsinki will be cancelled from 22 June to 24 June inclusive. On Friday 25 June the departure of the Tolstoi train from Helsinki to Moscow will be cancelled but the train from Moscow to Helsinki will depart as normal at 22.50. No replacement transport will be arranged for these services. On 26 June all trains will be running as normal between Finland and Russia. These changes are due to work on the track in both countries, which is necessary in order to start the high-speed rail link between Finland and Russia.
