Everyday journeys with VR 

We transport people on their everyday journeys on VR’s own and the HSL area’s commuter trains. More than 800 commuter train services are operated every weekday in Finland. 

VR City Traffic also includes the leader in e-bus transport, Pohjolan Liikenne. In addition, we operate trams on the Tampere Tramway as part of the Tramway Alliance.

We expanded our operations to Sweden in July 2022. VR Sweden operates in Stockholm, southern Sweden and eastern Götaland, and will also start operating in central Sweden in the Bergslagen region in late 2023.
