We serve the media via phone at +358 29 434 7123 and by email at [email protected]. We are available by email during office hours. After 4 PM on weekdays, on public holidays, and during weekends, please contact us by phone — at those times, we assist the media in urgent disruption situations.
We consider professional reporters of established media, such as magazines, newspapers, radio and television, to be media representatives. Thus, we do not consider, for example, the authors of blogs, social media websites, websites or occasional publications to be media representatives.

You can find information about train traffic and exceptions on VR's Traffic info page. VR's customer care assists our customers in matters related to rail travel.

Who is responsible for what?
VR is responsible for operating trains and providing services, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency for the railway network and platform areas, Fintraffic for traffic control and passenger information at stations and HSL for public transport in the capital region.
