Looking for more information for your newspaper article or perhaps an interviewee from the VR Group for a radio show? You can contact our media desk, who will help you with your article.

Our communications unit serves media representatives at +358 (0)29 434 7123 and at [email protected]. We can be contacted during office hours. We serve media representatives in acute disruption situations on weekdays after 4 p.m., public holidays and weekends.

We consider professional reporters of established media, such as magazines, newspapers, radio and television, to be media representatives. Thus, we do not consider, for example, the authors of blogs, social media websites, websites or occasional publications to be media representatives.

Customer service advice for train travel

You can find information about train traffic and exceptions on VR's Traffic info page. VR's customer care assists our customers in matters related to rail travel.

Who is responsible for what?

VR is responsible for operating trains and providing services, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency for the railway network and platform areas, Fintraffic for traffic control and passenger information at stations and HSL for public transport in the capital region.
